About Katrina Griffin

Katrina Griffin is eleven years old and attends St. Dominic School in Quincy Illinois, where she maintains honor roll status. To sharpen her acting ability, Katrina trained at John Robert Powers in St. Louis. Over the years, some of show businesses's biggest names have studied at JRP, including Brenda Song (of Disney's "The Suite Life") and Stephan Bender (of the 2006 film "Superman Returns"). She describes her time at JRP as a great experience and very beneficial to her career and all of the hopes she has for it.

It isn't easy to find a young actress with as much experience as Katrina. Katrina has even attended an iPOP event in Los Angeles, a national covention that brings performers and models together with leading talent managing and modeling agencies. Those local to the Tri-State area may recognize Katrina from commercials advertising Outdoor Power Sports and the new Microtel on the river front.

Katrina has set many solid goals for herself as a young and aspiring entertainer. Katrina is in the process of developing a foundation for her career, but in the midst of it all, she refuses to get big-headed about any of it. In a recent interview, Katrina says she intends to "always stay about what I love." Katrina goes on to say that as an actress, her ideal role would be a character a little different than herself. The opportunity to take on an "alter-ego" is what really sparks Katrina's interest in performing. Katrina would like to note that one of her strong points as an actress is her "cold read" ability. Those she has worked with in the past have credited her capacity to pick up a script she's never seen and get it down within minutes.

While pursuing her dreams, Katrina still has time to enjoy many of the same activities that your average ten year-old enjoys. Katrina emphasizes that she loves to spend time with family, describing her family as "a pretty large" one. "I have a mother, a father, and a step-mother. I have two step-sisters - Carly and Lauren - and then I have a brother named Jake, a half-brother named Matt, and a half-sister named Lauren." In addition to spending time with friends and family, Katrina attends dance and fitness classes at a local school.
